Marvel has announced that it's working with developer GlitchSoft to bring the Uncanny X-Men classic storyline "Days of Future Past" to the world of mobile gaming.
VP of Games Production at Marvel TQ Jefferson said of the project, "GlitchSoft came to us with a pedigree of rock-solid game development, strong production values, and a passion for the Uncanny X-Men franchise that was impossible to ignore."
Days of Future past is a story line set in a dystopian future where mutants are interned in camps due to anti-mutant hysteria among the general population and takes place in Earth-811 reality in the Marvel Multiverse.
Glitchsoft's site for the game promises "Uncanny X-Men enthusiasts will be able to experience Marvel’s 1981 landmark Days of Future Past comic book story arc in an immersive and story-driven game."
Uncanny X-Men: Days of Future Past will be available for iOS and Android devices in May 2014 in conjunction with the Days of Future Past film.
How do you feel about a mobile game based on Days of Future past? Are there other X-Men story arcs you'd like to see made into games? We want to know about it in the comments below.
